UPPSC - Uttar Pradesh Public Service commission -UPPSC announced a preliminary examination notification (ADVT.No. : A-2/E-1/2017) which will held at various Centers of the Districts mentioned in Appendix-2 on notification for selecting suitable candidates for admission to the combined State/Upper Subordinate Services Main (written) Examination 2017.

Personality Test : (VIVA-VOCE) Total Marks 200 - The test will relate to the matter of general interest keeping the matter of academic interest in view and for general awareness, intelligence, Character, expression power/ Personality, and general suitability for the service.

Application Fees- In the Online Application Process, After completing the procedure of first stage, category wise prescribed examination fee is to be deposited as per instruction provided in second stage. The prescribed fee of preliminary examination for different categories is as under-
- Unreserved (General)/OBC : Exam Fee Rs. 100/- with Processing fee Rs.25/- Total = Rs.125/-
- SC/ST : Exam Fees Rs. 40/- with Online processing fee Rs. 25/-, Total = 65/-
- Handicapped : Exam fees NIL with on line processing fee 25/-, Total = 25/-
- Dependents of the freedom fighters/ Ex-Serviceman/Women ; According to their original category.
Educational qualification:The candidates must possess bachelors Degree of any recognized university or equivalent qualification upto the last date for receipt of application. This should be mentioned by the candidates in the relevant column of their application form but for some post specific qualification have been prescribed of which the details are given below:

How to Apply for UPPSC Preliminary Examination 2017 Online-
Candidates Can apply for UPPSC preliminary examination through online mode by completing Three Stage.
Applicant need to go the Official website http://uppsc.up.nic.in/ & Candidates can only apply through online mode other mode of application are not entertained hence candidates are advised to apply online only.
when the candidate clicks on "ALL NOTIFICATIONS/ADVERTISEMENTS" on the commission's website the online advertisement shall be automatically displayed, wherein there shall be 3 parts given as below.

First Stage: On Clicking "Apply" Candidates Registration will be displayed. Basic Registration form will be displayed on clicking the candidates registration respective to examination. After filling the Basic Registration form the candidates must check all the information filled by them. If any correction or modification is required click on "Click Here" to modify' and ensure the required corrections/ modification. After being fully satisfied with all the information filled, click on "Submit Application" First Stage Shall be over. Thereafter candidates need to print registration slip" Shall be displayed and print of registration slip must be taken by clicking on print registration slip.
Second Stage : After the completion of the procedure of first stage, Fee to be deposited shall be displayed with caption "Click Here to Proceed Payment", It is redirected to home page of state bank payment gateway, where candidate can pay Examination fees through different payment mode like Net banking, Debit card, Credit card and other payment modes. After depositing the required fee by any payment option payment receipt shall be displayed along with fee deposition details. you can take a print out of it by clicking on "Print Payment Receipt".
Third Stage: On completion of the procedure of second click on "proceed for final submission of application form (Part-2)" as a result of which format shall be displayed. The candidate need to entere all the required info in the format. The Photo and signature , duly scanned file shall be uploaded also in the prescribed size in the official notification. After filling all the information the candidate need to Click on PREVIEW to see for themselves that all entries and information are correctly entered and after satisfying themselves should click "Submit" button to forward the same to the commission.
The candidate may take a print of the application for this. After clicking the "Submit" button, the candidate may take a print of the application to preserve it with them. IN the event of any discrepancy. The candidates will be required to submit the said print in the office of the commission, otherwise his/her request shall be not be entertained.
